This page describes the current MiniAmFm app and its website, provided by G Digital.

Listening stays yours

The current app code does not collect listening history and contains no advertising or analytics SDK. You do not need a MiniAmFm account.

Saved on your device

Your favourites, presets, last selected station, volume and haptic preference are stored locally in the app’s preferences. The app does not send these preferences to a G Digital server. Removing the app removes its local app data, subject to your device’s backup and restoration settings.

Streaming and station search

Listening connects your device to the selected broadcaster’s stream. Searching connects to the Radio Browser directory. Those services receive ordinary network information needed to respond, such as your IP address and the requested stream or search query. Their handling of those requests follows their own privacy practices. Initial presets include SomaFM streams.

Background playback

The app uses the device’s audio playback services and can display the current station on the lock screen. A sleep timer stops playback after the duration you choose.

This website

This website has no analytics, advertising scripts or cookies added by G Digital. Netlify hosts this website. Its operational and security logs may process IP addresses and browser request details. Any future App Store download link opens Apple’s service under Apple’s privacy practices.
